First matchweek is over and we're approaching to the second one. As per usual we've had some dropouts already, we're not removing them from the league yet since we're looking for some replacements. Therefore, don't worry about your matches against those teams since they'll be either removed or rearranged with the replacing team. If you are interested in joining the league or you know someone who wants to, please don't hesitate to contact staff at #urban-zone.
All week 2 matches have been forced, if you have any questions about your match please contact your division supervisor as fisrt choice since they will gladly help you out and they know your division better than other staff members. If they happen to be offline, any other staff member will help you out aswell. We're sorry for the issue occurred with Bomb Mode schedules, please play week 1 matches as soon as you can. Rules Update
We would like to remind you about the rules updates since it seems they're still unknown to someone.
First of all, remember that the updates we made during past season are still in order. If you have memory issues, you can find them HERE.
Other than that, we have some other changes to introduce:
Roster and aliases
The only HUGE change reguarding aliases is that you can list ONLY ONE ALIAS. We've introduced a new feature in the website which allows us to search players by aliases. The old alias box will be deleted soon and you'll have to fill in your alias again. The only correct way to do it is via "My Player Profile" menu. There you will find a new tab named "Alias" where you can enter your alias. Using a non listed alias will end up in a penalty for your team, so watch out.

Authentication system
There's a brand new paragraph about the autentication system. We've not been too strict during the first matchweek. Adding your auth nick to your UZ profile is mandatory. Do it as soon as possible couse we'll start applying the following rule:
8.C Authentication system
Players MUST link their UrT auth login name to their profile on the UrbanZone website. You can find a multilanguage how to HERE. Please note that we ONLY want your username on urbanterror.info, we DON'T WANT either your auth key or any link to your profiles.
Players have to be authed and logged in whilst playing an official match. Teams have to add all of their players to their rosters on both UrbanZone website and urbanterror.info website.
Note that our cfg files won't allow players to connect to a server if they are not logged in or/and if they're not added to their clan's roster on urbanterror.info either.
If teams are found guilty of editing cfg files in order to allow non authed players to play a league match, the match itself will result in a forfait loss for the team who's responsible of the server.

All week 3 matches have been forced. CTF on Sunday 26.05 @21:00 CET, TS on Sunday 26.05 @22:00 CET and BOMB on Thursday 23.05 @21:00 CET. If you still happen to find a different agreement or if you have any questions about your matches please contact your division supervisor as fisrt choice since they will gladly help you out and they know your division better than other staff members. Bit late, but these should be in time for your first matches, our apologies!
Of course we recommend reading through the rules before you start playing your first match, but a short summary is that there are new allowed maps. Some 4.2 maps and some others are included too including a map a lot of you requested ut4_paris_v2. Please read the rules regarding abuse on maps, especially paris, since it's prone to abuse. Furthermore with the adoption of 4.2 and the auth system there are some new rules, read up on them!

New Season Starting

Sorry for the delay but we're finally approaching the start of the upcoming season.
The third divisions and lower have now been posted. Arrange your matches before this Sunday, or else they will be forced.
Don’t forget to update your team info, squad list and especially contact info! Also, we would like to remind you that you need to use 4.2.012!
You can see your match schedule in FIXTURES in the competition menus: BOMB HERE, CTF HERE and TS HERE. Individual teams can also see their own matches in the Calendar and Results tabs of their Team Profile.
FIXTURES will be available from tomorrow night, right after First Division Draw's live straming.
TIMEZONE SETTINGS:
To start with, set your profile time up properly. Look left. In the left-hand column, toward the top, you can see My Preferences. Click. Select your timezone AND your daylight saving time (example: GMT + 1 as timezone and European Union - Central GMT + 1 as daylight saving time). Click on SAVE CHANGES.Now continue reading.

Awards season 17/10/2

Traditionally, awards are released late on Urban Zone. This year is no exception.
This season we featured a completely new division-layout with the top 2 divs being divided into four groups and playing in a cup to keep matches thrilling and exciting, even in the top-divs. The feedback was very positive and we could see many enthralling matches, therefore we will keep up this layout for the next season as well - which will be a completely new experience for us as well being the first season in Urban Terror 4.2 only.
As always, we'd like to thank all our sponsors and partners: RaideR for hosting almost everything Urban Zone related, UrT-Tv for providing GTV servers and camera people for Urban Zone matches and for streaming, our server sponsors ProGamers Gameservers, Clan Outpost Gameservers and Turbo Bears for offering the prizes, AGBD for hosting all our files, the whole staff and all teams and players who donated money, time and resources to help us make this season happen.

These special awards are given by Urban Zone staff to teams and players who fought hard for the honor. And dishonor, in some cases.
Sportsmanship Award: In CTF, the award for amazing sportsmanship goes to team Rush , who have always been nice to their opponent, they also accepted some last minute reschedule when possible. In TS, Team Pirates takes the award breaking the italian tradition. They rescheduled each and every time they were asked to, even when the opponent didn't seem to take too much care of the match. In BM we awarded Ladies only`, who were an example of good behavior.
Match of the Season: The award for the best match in the CTF league goes to Rush and Incredible Animal Terrorists for bringing us an outstanding show in this SEMIFINAL which iAt were able to win only after three maps. In TS, the match of the season was played by Sexy Chicks and Team Italy in this MATCH which was Division 1 GRAND FINAL. The teams Zero 2 Oullies and Question Authority showed us their skills in handling bombs in thisQUARTER FINAL match which was very even and ended up in a victory for the dutchies after a third and decider map.
Most Improved: The most improved team in CTF was, once again, =vSC= who walked his way up to the first division. In TS Team Pirates won a fantastic Bronze Medal and showed us they can be a TS top team. In BOMB mode b00bs
definitely deserved the award by defeating every opponent in a fairily clear way.

Golden Pacifier Award: The pacifier is our award for people who should think more before they decide to talk and act. No one really deserved the CTF one, but we felt like awarding dKaaz who's been the most tedious person we've ever had to deal with. Untill he got banned for cheating, of course. In TS, the award goes to team various SexyChicks
for the crying masterpiece show they brought us in their match against SaFt who won it and finally took the second place in division 3. In the BOMB League Question Authority had a quite similar behavior after losing an amazing Quarterfinal match against Zero to Oullies.
Golden Dildo Award: The golden dildo needs no explanation - we give it to people who act like real d… dimwits. This season, the CTF award goes to Incredible Animal Terrorists, no one refuses a rematch of the GRAND FINAL decider map and tries to forfait it without earning this award. In TS, the most awaited award goes to Alliance Squad, the most annoying bunch of people ever created. No one really deserved it in Bomb mode, that's why we decided to award three of the most immature people who've ever played this game, being them Prime, Vrederust and Sparrow.

This season we featured a completely new division-layout with the top 2 divs being divided into four groups and playing in a cup to keep matches thrilling and exciting, even in the top-divs. The feedback was very positive and we could see many enthralling matches, therefore we will keep up this layout for the next season as well - which will be a completely new experience for us as well being the first season in Urban Terror 4.2 only.

These special awards are given by Urban Zone staff to teams and players who fought hard for the honor. And dishonor, in some cases.
Sportsmanship Award: In CTF, the award for amazing sportsmanship goes to team Rush , who have always been nice to their opponent, they also accepted some last minute reschedule when possible. In TS, Team Pirates takes the award breaking the italian tradition. They rescheduled each and every time they were asked to, even when the opponent didn't seem to take too much care of the match. In BM we awarded Ladies only`, who were an example of good behavior.
Match of the Season: The award for the best match in the CTF league goes to Rush and Incredible Animal Terrorists for bringing us an outstanding show in this SEMIFINAL which iAt were able to win only after three maps. In TS, the match of the season was played by Sexy Chicks and Team Italy in this MATCH which was Division 1 GRAND FINAL. The teams Zero 2 Oullies and Question Authority showed us their skills in handling bombs in thisQUARTER FINAL match which was very even and ended up in a victory for the dutchies after a third and decider map.
Most Improved: The most improved team in CTF was, once again, =vSC= who walked his way up to the first division. In TS Team Pirates won a fantastic Bronze Medal and showed us they can be a TS top team. In BOMB mode b00bs
definitely deserved the award by defeating every opponent in a fairily clear way.
