To be fair, Biddle did not vote/argue on what happened - and I think he's too fair to go that route.

However, I would have liked to (have a) longer discussion on the topic, although I can't say now what the outcome would have been.

Honestly, I would have liked a rematch on Tohunga. It would have been fair to all three teams (FRA, NED, POL). Subtracting the point still leaves a lot of room for speculating on what could have happened (e.g., France pushing stronger, Poland fighting more to get a win etc.).

Either flag should retaken or map should be replayed but where is the logic behind giving a forfeit for this? It just makes no sense in my opinion because this flag was not map deciding or anything. Poland would have won anyway they were the better team on both maps so this is just bullshit

I don't agree with having points/flag captures cancelled, since we cannot really truly guess of what would have happened. Teams did not consider the -1 case when they played (as in they did not expose themselves in order to get the advantage, given that the cap wouldn't have counted).

Exploits are forbidden, but we're fairly vague in the rules on the outcome. It's mainly implied that the final score will be debated, so this actually leaves plenty of leverage in allowing us to seek the best solution.

Considering the relevance of the match, we should have avoided in making the controversial choice. This means, for me, a replay. But it's not just my choice -- I honestly would love to hear from Sotone. Even if it won't change anything.

And as a "well known abuse", couldn't the admins vote and write in the rules its consequences for the players and the team instead of deciding about the consequences by themselves everytime it happens ?

It was an exploit. That's not really debatable. The fact that it wasn't addressed in the match you linked to is an obvious error, and I apologize for that.

In both cases, admins must (or should have) react. The penalty is debatable in NC rules, though.

If thats not the case, I would not accept the decision and I would really like a statement on what is considered an exploit or not. Is shotting someone through pilldoor cause they stand too close to it an exploit? Is returning! the flag through the fence (i think it even happened in the game) an exploit? Or all of these just map features...

After all, it is possible to have the flag given through fence, between planks !
We could see this as good teamplay.
