The NationsCup has come and gone, congratulations
Team France ! During the streams I’ve said that I'd like to organize and stream events throughout the year. The first event will be a knockout held on Sunday the 27th of March from 15:00 till 17:00. Crimzon, the reigning knockout champion of 2015 helped organize this.
How can you sign up?
Signups will be done through this Urban Zone newspost. The first 15 to reply to this newspost get a spot. If you aren’t one of the lucky fifteen, sign up anyway – some people always drop out and you can take up their place. You are expected to be present in channel #urban-zone.knockout (irc.quakenet.org) at 14:40 CET, with the nickname you signed up with. If you are not there on time your spot will be given away.
As a test we’d like to offer our twitch subscribers a place in the event: lionroars, rocket and crimzon.
We are thinking of using discord for voice communication during the event. Discord might be a great replacement for IRC and teamspeak, it’s all in one. And asking new Urban Terror players to use IRC for communication is another hurdle to join our community. Maybe it’s time for us to make the switch? Here's an invite!
