We are happy to see you back after the summer and hope you are as ready as we are to flag, frag and blow stuff up. Yes, we have decided to give in to your frequent requests for a bomb competition at Urban Zone and along with the 16th season of our CTF league and 9th season of the TS competition we decided to open the 1st season of what we hope may be a successful BOMB league.

SIGNUPS
The signups will close on September 30. A few days later the divisions will be posted and you will have the remainder of the week to schedule your wars for week 1. Bomb league wars will not be forced as usual, to Sunday, but to Thursday, to distribute your war load throughout the week. As always you will need a minimum of 5 players to join the competitions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SIGNING UP:
1. Clan leaders – see the top of the front page or click on the COMPETITION menu.
2. Select the competition you want to sign up for.
3. Now click the “chain link” button (you can see the text “sign up” when you hover your mouse over it) next to the competition you want and you will be signed up!
4. Do not forget to edit your roster, erase all players who left, add all new players, and edit permissions for your trusted players and captains.

Please do not forget to fill in your team contact information in this website (team website, irc channel, contact email, etc.) – if we are unable to contact you and verify your signup, you will be removed from signups.
IMPORTANT:
ALL players in both leagues have to be registered.
Multiclanning within one competition is not allowed. However, players are allowed to play in one CTF team, another TS team, and a third team in BOMB. Do not – repeat: DO NOT – create accounts for your teammates. We are able to reference IP addresses and your team will not be allowed to sign up if we find one person faking accounts for others.
Because we also have clans competing from outside Europe we want clans to set the correct country flag or you may end up playing vs 300 ping opponents, so no funny stuff.
Also we expect all players to know the rules and abide by them, so (re)acquaint yourself with them, your teammates may be punished for your wrong doing, and nobody wants that! The newest rule update will be published ASAP.
RULE UPDATES:
There have been 3 updates to rules you will need to follow from now on:
1/ You are limited to one alias per season. Do not change your alias during the season. Do not use more than one alias.
2/ You are allowed to have only one account. If you lose your password and have problems recovering your account, talk to an admin.
3/ Even though we will be using UrT 4.1.1 for the time being, enter your UrT auth in your profile. (In your profile information on the top left of this page, click on "My UrT Auth Name" and fill in your auth NAME, not code.)
SPONSORS:
As mentioned earlier, Urban Zone now has two gameserver sponsors. Each will sponsor a league and the winner of division 1 will win a server that it can use until there is a new winner of that league. You can decide to use it as a public or private server. Also if you are in need of a (neutral) server for your Urban Zone wars, contact an admin and he/she will set you up. Remember, the sponsors provide the prizes to advertise their services, so if you are looking for a new server why not check them out. You help Urban Zone by doing so

PRIZES:
*NOTE: For this first season with prizes you will NOT have to have played a prior season in Urban Zone!*
For a clan to qualify for prizes, it will have to have played in the prior season of the league in question. This is to encourage clans to stay together and play in Urban Zone. If the winner of the league does not qualify, the prize will move on to the next applicable clan.
If the sponsor withdraws the prize for whatever reason, Urban Zone is not obliged to provide a replacement. Furthermore if the winning clan publicly criticizes services provided by the sponsor, the prize will be immediately withdrawn. Remember, the sponsors provide the prizes to advertise their services.
