Hi i am Moe form |O_o| team

I gonna quit the game cause i am getting bored about Hax and before leaving i just would like to know :

-Why is there just 4 demos review this seasons ?

-Why (when we make everything) the |D| files we made about Whysky coca still unknow , when it's absolutly clear this guys is fake ?

And just finally

-Why |D| still playing Uz when they are kick or ban ( i don't already know) from Clan base ? (and so What about Mortalogy alias Glandfou alias Tchi-tchi brother alias UZSTAFF :/ )

Ok, I won't say don't have time to check all the demo's, I'll say, offer to help! What gives you the right to demand stuff? Are we being paid to do this league thing? NO. Are we even getting income from advertisement? NO. Everything here is done on a voluntary basis, if you don't like it you have three choices, either make your own league like so many before you have tried (and failed), offer to help us and improve the situation (I know what am I thinking to expect some community involvement), or leave (the easy method, which you seem to have chosen for).

Cu when UrT HD is out and we don't have to check as many demo's

ps. Ow and another thing, one of the demo's we checked we got a SHIT LOAD of fucking whiners, which is also very demoralizing to the demo crew. Checking demo's is probably the most annoying and tedious thing one can do, except watching paint dry.

pps. 4 demo's? you mean 4 bans, we checked a lot more demo's.

She tols me "Ok". But nothing happen. i asked her every week. But that's not really the problem.

Sure i think you 've whatch more than 4 demo Smile

but now demos are public and if you want just take a look on Whisky coca files we made with rangina, i think it's about 15 min. (and we post it around 4 or 6 week ago)

Moreover you said 4 demos = 4 bans , i might be blind or just retarded but i say 4 demos= 2 bans this season (http://www.urban-zone.org/index.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6)
when on the last league you have post aroud 40 demos. I know it's base on the volontary and i (another time ) thank you for all you already did/do but wtf ?

You answer my first question thank you. but What about the 2 last ?

1/ clanbase doesn't ban teams
2/ what the hell do you mean by fake? I have never seen any evidence from anyone about whiskycoka being fake.

There might be just a LACK of conversation betwin admin. But that's no more my problem.

Finally all i said is just my opinion, not |O_o| opinion who choose to stop UZL since mortalogy became an admin.

Ps: this evening i will send you whisky coca evidence (if you don't already have it)

Mortalogy isn't an admin, he is a trialing staff member, it's kind of obvious since he is not opped yet. As far as I know, he hasn't been banned anywhere or proven to have done something wrong, so basically, what exactly are you quitting for? Mortalogy wanted to do UZ work and he has been very helpful. You volunteered to do demo work only and we did not find a common line there. We can discuss the subject of your application further, I just wonder how well you thought that through.

As for anyone else, refer to our rules. Stop accusing people of cheating in public. If by fake you mean cheating, we have your revision. Again, please reconsider if you want to follow this line of discussion here.

that's not a team ban, clanbase doesn't do team bans and D are free to sign up again next season. They got removed from the current cup for breaking the rules, much like about 10 other teams. I don't see you whining about them, just on a side note.

Hit the nail right on the head, we do not communicate everything between each other, we delegate. When I started this league I could still know everything that's going on, now you'd be lucky if I knew 60%.
Sorry if you found my answer to be harsh. And no, if you offered to help that does still not give you the right to demand stuff. Even if you were helping (aka part of the demo review staff) and putting in 20 hrs a week you would still not have the right to demand stuff because everyone's time is his/her own to give voluntary.

Anyway, see you when urt hd comes out.

I'd like to add just a point with a little more "detached" point of view.
Moe sometimes gets off quit harshly when deep down he's just a tiny little teddy bear...

I feel like Moe's initial request was not actually a demand, more of a question as to why things this year didn't run as smoothly as in previous seasons regarding demo checks.

Last season alone, there were 39 demo reviews, the season before that more than 80.

I've been with UZ (ioUrT league...) since the very beginning, and I've clearly never had anything to complain about, but it is indeed frustrating to reach season's end with unanswered questions.

It's all the more frustrating with the "public" demo in place this season. I assume that, as we did in the particular review Moe mentions, most people check facts by themselves, adding Timers, before even requesting for a review.

This leads people to wonder why no decision is being made during the active session.

I'm afraid Moe's blood can get really hot really fast... but heh, as he mentioned, it's his personal view, not |O_o|'s, despite our (contained) frustration :).

Have fun during winter season, I'm sure everything will have cooled down by next "official" season... and maybe demo checking will be optimised by then !

Cheers, and whatever our feelings toward this issue might be, this league has gone a long way since its launch.

Like Seven said, with the time you just get bored with watching demos.
I was the demo sup from the last 2 seasons (season CTF 8+9 / TS 1+2), so i know what im talking about.
In the last 2 seasons i watched many demos who are clear, its stupid to loose more then 40min of my life.
But this season is different, the opponent gives us timers, so we can check the demo + check the timers carefully.
But the whole staff is tired from watching demos.
I know there are about 30 demos from the last season (season CTF 9 / TS 2) not reviewed till now.
We nearly stopped it cuz noone got the time or the motivation to look at them.

Im afraid that we havent got enough active demo reviewers. Its a pitty.

Gost0r, thanks for your honest reply. See, playing in the movie was better than watching it while eating popcorn :).

Then, I guess the point is : if it is indeed impossible to find active demo reviewers, might be better to stop demo reviewing altogether... will avoid frustration, and... at least make some hackers happy :).
