Posted: Fri Jun 18, 2010 10:25 am Author: SevenofNine As mentioned in the last news article, the new site needs a fresh design and we're looking for designers who are willing to help us with that. Urban-Zone has had several different designs over the years but all have had one constant and that is the logo. I've attached a zip file with the font and logos we use for urban zone. The only requirement we have of you is that you are willing to give us the original .PSD file or equivalent (vector files are also very welcome!).
Naturally you don't have to do everything, however one constant design (house style) is better.
What we want: - Banner
dimensions 977 × 180
- Promotional buttons
A button that clans can put on their websites, showing that they play in Urban Zone, can be animated or not.
- User bars
For signatures on forums, can be animated or not.
- Logo
You can also try your hand at a new Urban Zone logo, though we are satisfied with the current one, if you think you can make it better we'll always have a look.
- Event logos
Specific logos for the CTF League, TS League, Summer Cup and Winter Cup.
- Awards
As you know after every season we have awards, new designs are welcome, but we don't need any for the Winter/Summer Cups though. You can also show us examples before you go and design the full set, it would be a shame if you work on a whole set and it doesn't get chosen.
The prize:
Eternal fame and glory (we can't offer anything else, we do this for free as well )
Deadlines:
Banner and Summer Cup event logo -> 4th of July or earlier.
The rest -> 31st of July or earlier.

I'd prefer them to blend into a coloured background, as this site isn't fixed width (and I presonally wouldn't want it to be).
Anyway, I like Kronic's 2nd image, that'd get my vote

btw regarding the summercup banners, we might use them as this is the only time we can have a specific banner for a competition, anyway the others can still be used for the other 3/4th of the year

they are looking for an all year round banner more or less
so only mine and Rasta.Blaster banners count
