Might be interesting, especially with the urban zone summer cup coming up.
I do have some questions though, does this give a competive advantage, and does it work vs non-migrated players?
Can we check if someone has this client?

Hi,

I'm on an Linuxsystem and tried it out but get the following:

SDL_Init(SDL_INIT_VIDEO) passed.
Initializing OpenGL display
...setting mode -1: 1680 1050
SDL_SetVideoMode failed: Couldn't find matching GLX visual
SDL_SetVideoMode failed: Couldn't find matching GLX visual

Thats what I've detected to Wink

IIRC r_mode 4 means 800x600 - great Resolution for my 22" TFT Razz
What I've not have attached was that the Game tries Standard VGA Resolution (640*480) by itsself after the custom Resolution fails to Start.

This is what I use atm (with the native UrT Client):

seta r_fullscreen "0"
seta r_customwidth "1673"
seta r_customheight "1000"
seta r_mode "-1"

Its in Windowed Mode because of my Dualmonitor Setup, but I works in Fullscreen neither.

Can you put Ikalizer on it? I use Ikalizer and I would change to this if this build had Ikalizer.

I just ment run it that way one time to get in so you could set proper res.

about ikal n such, I'm not interested in supporting sound hacks. Sorry. -- The source is always available if you wish to patch it yourself.

@itsme, it appears you know what to do, why did you ask me? Why are you wasting my time with such BS posts if you already know the settings you need to set? Try using your brain before posting

@ slackin: is there some improvement possible? 'cause i've got a 24'' screen, and with the related custom resolution (1920x1080), i got 30-40 fps. When i set 1600x1200, i've got 125 fps with no drop, but game looks like shit. Is there any way to fix this?
anyway, congratz for your job so far.

Thats the answer of a real Developer - WOW! N1 - What a bug? Go ahaed and don't waste my Time. ROFL

I just USED my Brain and tried other modes by myself and it does NOT work that was my Question.

PS.
You say: I do not change anything to the Vanilla Source and just added a few cvars, so why is your binary not be able to run 640x480, 800x600 or whatever when othe rbinarys can? - Oh let my alone with this ?%&$§.

Definitely nice stuff, it is somehow feelin better to me. Nice work dude. Im hoping also to see some of the stuff of mitsubishis client combined with this since im too dumb for that. One question though: is this now allowed or not? I mean i could use it since its not based on serverside if i understood that right.

The vid modes run just fine. Its your config somewhere. I don't know what you did or did not do wrong, but the client works EXACTLY the same as far as rendering and game play is concerned.

@all: A mitsu build is on the way, I've just been a little busy.

PS to itsme: I have 4 active projects and I have to manage PUGBOT. I barely have time to do this stuff. That IS NOT A BUG. you are doing something incorrectly, I do not have time to personally help every person who is having an issue. I do what I can, but I expect you guys to try and figure this out on your own to an extent. Also, what language do you speak? is there anyone who speaks your language who can help you? I can barely understand what you mean, it would help a lot if I knew what you were saying.

that's impossible. lol

if 1920x1080 is your native resolution you cant use 1600x1200. 1080 is less than 1200.
