Hello everybody,
The cup is all ready one week old and we have already seen a lot of activity. Almost 80 clans played and the top clan, -vexillum.-, is close to 200 points already. Nothing is decided yet, let's keep on playing. Since it is really close to xmas, no extra points this week. The second week is therefore nice and easy. The map list includes maps from CTF and TS seasons as well as all custom maps allowed in the cup and you can play all gametypes (CTF, TS, BOMB, TDM, CAH, and FTL).

We remind you that no subs are allowed in TS.
In the other gametypes you can use 3 subs max
Don't forget - you can sign your team up any time during the cup, the signups never close.
Also another reminder about demo uploading. Naturally demo upload is still required, so do it immediately after the match and we won't have any forfeit losses.
Advertisement
We're going to experiment a bit with advertising, it's going to be very limited as we believe the lack of advertising is one of our strengths. The ads are (going to be) on the video's of our shoutcasts and in the download area, we might still change the location etc. Your feedback is very welcome, either in the comments of the news or in the forums. This is all new to us and we don't want it to impact your experience of Urban Zone. The money (if any) will be reinvested in Urban Zone, so if you feel like clicking on an advertisement and supporting us now and then that would be most welcome 
Maps
After 4 months SevenofNine has finally found time to update the download area. We have quite a number of maps that still need to be uploaded, the first 10 can be found here.
SHOUTCASTS
We also shoutcasted a clanbase match, this was the CTF final of the Fall Open Cup.
