Hello UrT, I'll try to keep this short,

I'm 22, from Belgium and seeking for a low/midskill clan that can show me the basics of what I need to know in competitive gaming on UrT.
I come from another Q3-Engine based game which died out a year ago.. played that game for over 10 years. Lately it started itching again.. I want to be playing scrims so went looking for an fps with a similar feel to what I played before.

My pros: my aim, my ability to read my opponents, my "crazy" reflex.. has to be said UrT is a fastpaced game which was not as much the case in what I used to play but I'm sure aiming-wise I'll still manage just fine.
My cons: I have never touched UrT, don't know the maps, jumps, movement.. this is where I need help with, I want to pick up all of this asap.
I'm a dedicated and active player, I consider myself highly skilled but of course it'll take a bit to pick up UrT.. I do have mumble, teamspeak, vent or even skype.. anything you guys use during scrims.. if you need to know more just ask away.

My level of skill on UrT is 0 so I'll take any clan as long as you guys are scrimming a lot, participating in cups possibly...

tldr: never played urt, have experience with a similar game.. good aim/reflexes, no knowledge about UrT maps,movement,jumps etc.

i have played urt for a few years now and steadily but slowly i was oozing my way into boobs : )

i am not in any position to give you clan advice... this post goes in the opposite direction ..

i think you should play on pubs, i am well aware that when it comes to maps there is a pub way of playing and a competitive way of playing .. but pubs will give you an idea of the basic layout of maps .. and you might see some useful jumps or neuralgic spots of the map

i think some time on a team survivor or ctf or bomb server won't do you any harm ...
and since this can be considered an advertisment, at least for a few lines:
i highly recommand to visit boobs 4.1 uptown only servers (ts/ tdm/ bomb/ ctf/ ffa)
btw. uptown is the only map that really forces you to use urt's unique movement possibilities .. (vertical gameplay)

furthermore:
be sure to visit urbanterror.info ..
and i'd run 4.1. and 4.2 (to seperate installations of course), currently there are still more players on pubs in 4.1
