No, because ultimately there needs to be "someone" responsible for a clan and having "one" someone is preferable to having "several" someones, much easier to administer.
There are 3 levels of team permissions :-
3 Leader
2 Trustee
1 Arranger
("members" and "inactive" have no permissions)
One thing each of those can do is promote or demote anyone below their level. Promoting a Trustee to Leader however demotes the existing Leader to Trustee, maintaining the concept of one person with ultimate responsibility.
Imagine if there were 3 Trustees, all with the same permissions, and then 1 left, possibly in less than amicable circumstances, yet all 3 had the same permissions. By having a Leader you can ensure disputes can always be resolved, beyond the Leader being the one in dispute of course, in which case a site Admin would be required. But if there were several people at the top level site Admins would have to get involved much more often.
No idea, it's not supposed to be possible. Which team is this?

is there a way to having 2 or 3 trustees instead of 1 leader in a uz clan? the only way i know, is to change the leader to inactive, but i saw a german team who had 3 trustees and 3 members only. how?

kendle, it's possibly a remnant of the transfer from the old website. that one allowed all kinds of weird stuff
